PCGH, Inc.’s Farm is the former estate of Barbara J. Hiskey. Numerous individuals with disabilities are employed at this “old-style working farm” which has numerous horses including three miniature horses, pigs, chickens, goats, ducks, geese, dogs, and cats.

Farm Ventures, a Therapeutic Riding Program, is located on the 127-acre farm and serves as Person County’s Special Olympics Equestrian Program training area. Therapeutic riding provides benefits in the areas of education, sports, therapy, and recreation/leisure. The benefits of equine-oriented therapy programs are as numerous as the disabilities of the individuals served.
