Person County Group Homes, Inc. (PCGH) is a non-profit organization in Roxboro, NC with a rich history of providing services for individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury and Mental Health diagnoses in our community. 

Since opening its first group home in 1975 in the Olive Hill community, PCGH has continued to expand its services while striving to provide excellence in all programs.  PCGH has expanded to 7 Supported Living Programs in beautiful homes with up to 6 residents each.  PCGH also operates 2 IID/ICF homes for those with the need for more assistance/supervision. 

Over the years an Independent Living Program was developed to include a Home Ownership Program, Boarding House and 3 Apartment Complexes. In this program, services are offered in homes/apartments rented by the individuals served. 

Adult Day Programs were opened beginning in 1999 in order to help meet the need for day services for the elderly and those with IDD. 

PCGH continues to assess the needs of our community in order to expand and enhance our services to better meet those needs. With its high standards and excellent reputation, PCGH has become an integral part of our community and continue to be dedicated to enhancing lives while promoting independence.

Person County Group Homes, Inc. strives to continue improving in the areas of person-centered and outcome-focused services. We will, in order to meet the ever-changing needs of the community, continue to assess needs, work collaboratively with the individuals with disabilities, their family members, and the community.
